anyways. spent christmas in malacca with my grandma, aunts uncles & cousins. (: we left at about 6am on saturday and the causeway was like, sooooper jammed up lah. we reached our hotel at like 1pm?! and the worst thing was i couldn't sleep in the car. and i only had 4 hrs of sleep the night before. hurr.
jonker street was okay. took us quite a while to get there, but i managed to get myself a bag! (: heehee. next day we went to see this 'red house' thing. and sat the trishaw which took us around the place. haha, all the trishaws had an umbrella over the passengers. my cousin & i were wondering how come our 'umbrella' had gaps, and my mum told us it was actually a CHRISTMAS TREE. hahaha. and our trishaw was damn slow, we were so far back from the others. lol.
then we went to see this museum, which was in a ship. a REAL ship. the exhibits were kinda boring la, but the SHIP was damn cool. my uncle used to be in the navy so he kept explaining to us kids why the ship has this why the ship has that. ahaha. like tour guide.
went for Christmas midnight mass that day. there was carolling, and the choir was pretty good. but all the songs they sang all nv hear before. hurr. anw the priest's homily was like, 5mins?! hahaha. sat in the church for a while, singing along with the choir, saying 'merry christmas' to random strangers etc etc. hah.
yeap. that was my christmas. it didn't rain AT ALL while we were in Malacca yanno. the weather was so nice and warm. and the minute we came back to singapore it started to rain. ROAR. no fun.
anw. school's starting soon, & i've to go to MJ tmr. ohboy. (:
