I AM HOME!

miss me? i know NGYILING did! hahaha. Korea was good. i've so many many stories to tell, but i shan't talk about all. because i am lazy. (: nyahaha.

let's talk about my tour group first yes? the tour guide, ERIC, was very good at his job. very on-the-ball. haha, my papa liked him so much he gave him a 40% increase for his tip! but he deserves it lah. there were 19ppl, there was a couple on honeymoon, a family of four (which proved to be really annoying through the course of the journey) and a Malaysian family of ten. yes, TEN! it's actually 2 families lah, they came together, & there was eyecandy from there. haha. at first i thought he was at least 16 or 17 cos of his height, but my pa found out he was only 15. :l and his bro, who's shorter & smaller & looks 14 or 15, is actually 16. how weird right. all 4 brothers & sisters don't look alike at all, even their mum says so. haha. oh & the other malaysian mother thought i was 17 or 18. that's the oldest age i've ever been mistaken for. i almost burst out laughing when she asked. ahhah. and the couple was kinda cute. the guy is super duper funny, he could be a stand-up comedian. hahah.

oh, the family of four? the mother is damn weird. she's like anti-social or something. like when someone in the group cracks a really good joke, she'll be the only one not laughing. :l and she doesn't talk to anyone, even if one of us just ask her something, she just smiles & her husband's always the one answering for her. and her 2 sons, ohman. they stare at you like they've never seen a human being before! it's not like they're little kids, they're sec 1 & 2! and from SJI. you'd expect much more civilised behaviour than this lah. crazy family.

The Teddy Bear Museum in Jeju was pretty cute. there was a display of the bears from that Goong show, including the Alfred bear. hahah. oh and that night we stayed at this LOTTE HOTEL, sooo whoa. the sink was so low that they even provided a stool for you to sit on while brushing teeth/washing your face etc. the whole room is like some mini version of a palace! and you know, last time in villages in Jeju, the houses didn't hv doors. so they had this.. stick system thing. if there were three sticks hung on this.. thing, means nobody's home, two sticks means they'll be back soon, one stick means the kids are home, and NONE means the whole family's in. interesting eh. they're so trusting. hah.

then we flew over to Daegu, there was the SPA VALLEY. oh so fun so fun. there's like this pond of fish where you sink your stinky feet in, and the fish'll come and eat away your dead skin. its so freaky, this korean was doing it and all of us just stared his feet. we went to this indoor pool which had all the different massage thingies. and we had to change to our costumes in the locker room where everyone could see your.. yeah. the ppl there do weird things while they're naked. one was drying her hair, and another was walking around, talking on her handphone. and there we were, trying to shield each other, or incessantly poking our heads around the corners. :l hahah. anyway, the pool was nice although its kinda weird to see all of us in swimming costumes & trunks when we're in a country that's snowing, but it's a nice change. nice, change. (: hahaha!

then there was the 'Mysterious Road'. it's supposedly an illusion la, like you see this upslope, but even with the engine off, the bus continues moving 'up' the slope, and bicycles can move 'up' even without pedalling. weird eh? the ski resort was so-so, except for the snow part. we took a cable car up to the peak and there was SO MUCH SNOW THERE. and what do suaku ppl like us do when we see snow? we throw snowballs ((: mwahaha. mini-battle. sigh, i miss the snow. ): then there were the theme parks in Seoul, Everland and Lotte World. my papa nearly puked when we sat the roller coaster at Everland; the loops proved too much for him to take. mwaha. oh and i came face-to-face with a Bulgarian magician. haha, his card tricks were so funny.

yesterday before leaving Seoul we went to the ginseng shop & the amethyst factory. the workers there speak o fast, they might as well not explain the things that they were explaining. :l anw, every family bought so maany things. the parents were doing most of it la, the kids just walked around looking super sian. ha.and our last stop was at this duty-free shop, the malaysian family bought 300,000 won worth of korean tidbits & snacks! that's like S$500! so scary. but they own this plastic-making factory back in Johor so they're probably super extra rich? and they were spending lotsa money throughout the whole trip lah, so. no surprises there BUT STILL, $500 at a little snack store?! even the sons bought stuff. gosh.

but there was just one teenyweeny tragedy. on the second day my contact lens kinda tore into two, while it was in my eye. yes i know, ohmygawdwhatthehell. i managed to remove one piece almost immediately & i totally panicked when i saw it was a HALF-PIECE. hurr. so i suffered the whole day until finally at 10pm i saw the freaking other half and took the bloody thing out. ohboy. so the left corner of my left eye became red, & it still is. doctor said it's inflammed & i have to NOT wear contacts for TWO WEEKS. that's like, including Christmas! how can. anyway i don't think my mum expects me to really listen to the doc. hahaha. ohwell.

yup, so those are the highlights. haha. you know through the whole trip we ate pork, pork and more pork?! everyone got so sian of it by the 5th day. lol. got many other interesting things i missed out but i doubt anyone would wanna read about it. so now i have to do my christmas cards & get presents. hurr. oh & my papa found out from a colleague that he struck 4D while we were in Korea. how exciting eh. hahah. he said he'll get me an mp3, but hiya, it may take forever. haha. ladeedum.

and i just remembered posting results tmrw. argh. i just had to come back to this aye. irritaing. good luck everybody. sheesh..

btw, there's sth wrong with my hyperlink thing, so go here: http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2098146921 for pictures. (:
