i was watching some show the other day. grey's anatomy i think. and some guy said "nothing is perfect".
so i thought, that's true. there's no perfect person, or animal, or thing. everyone has their flaws right?
so if that's the case, why does the word "PERFECT" even exist? so that people waste their time trying to attain perfection, knowing that life can never be perfect?
or, on the brighter side, maybe it makes people want to strive to be better. to make things a little better than they are now.
then again, humans are greedy by nature. so they'll just continue their lives climbing that ladder, making themselves miserable in the process, telling themselves that the end-point is worth it. then maybe, they reach that end-point and feel that there's even more to life, and set foot on that ladder again. i dont know about you, but it seems really futile to me. like, where are they heading to?
where am i heading to?
okay. i'm side-tracking.
pessimism. is my middle name.
